I'm back, again?

New forums, new iteration of the project, maybe a good time for me to get involved again.

The last interim version was heavily toning down the xenos influence/presence, and eliminated most of the homemade races entirely, so I'll probably dedicate the primary focus of my work on revisiting and reworking the mining world Karnak (with a better name, if I can find one). If the Tau are involved in Anargo in our time period, maybe a peripheral involvement in that aspect.

Good to have you back man! Love to see a return of Karnak! That was the world with those moving continents right?

By the way, I don't think tje Tau themselves would be present in the sector, it's too far away from them, HOWEVER, Tau propaganda might be a possibility. In Lord of the Night some Imperial Hive World had some problems with this. I can imagine human agents being dispatched by the Tau, or maybe even human volunteers from the Tau empire travelling deep into the Imperium with the message of the Greater Good.

Moving cities, technically, but you're thinking of the right planet, yeah.

Welcome back, Glyph.  Yeah, the oodles of alien races have been toned down to bring it back into the realm of "believability."  that doesn't mean that there are none just that they should be brought back judiciously.

My hopes is to get the site software working and then... Well, we shall see.  I've dialed back my contribution to 40k forums including moderating and just general contribution, so we shall see where GURPS Rogue Trader goes.  So, yeah, there is certainly going to be the opportunity for contribution.

Anyway, back to the premise document for Shadowrun Apocalypse once again.

Welcome back Glyphstone.

I think Anargo is a bit far from the Tau even for propaganda to have spread this far, or at least certainly not in any abundance, particularly as I believe we are keeping the 'present' epoch in the Anargo timeline a bit before 999.M41.  We certainly welcome your input in other areas though, and as Kage said we are not set on having no Anargo-specific alien races we just wanted to tone it down from what was there before.  The Eldar are still around and the Orks are going to be very important in this iteration of the project if either of those are up you street.

Though I hasten to add that there is always the Apocrypha.  While there is at present no real "space" for a non-canonical alien race in the setting of Anargo, there's no reason that you could not continue to develop them in that particular section!

And here we are again - I stumbled across one of Kage's old posts in another forum while Google-browsing, and decided 'hey, I wonder if the ASP is still trundling along'.

It looks like the answer is 'no', but...anyone out there?

I think the best description of the present status of the project is 'in suspended animation'.  I'm continuing every so often to try and trawl through some more of the old material and put it up in the archives.  I do still work on new material every so often as well, my current long running project being the hive city of Tarvenhive, but it's just me keeping it ticking over at the moment.
